Pros

- Easy job (folding, organizing, etc.) - Very flexible schedules - Nice employees - Management very flexible with goals - Easy to get time off

Cons

- The customers (mainly 13 year old girls who don't know when to quit) - Employee discount is minuscule (a lousy 10%) - Closing is horrendous because you stay there until you are done (I've had to stay 2 hours after close) - Store is in a continuous state of disarray

Pros

They play good music. The pay is okay. Around cute clothes all day.

Cons

The discount is a joke. Only 10 percent for employees yet if store customers complain about a tiny deoderant stain on a shirt they get a 10 percent discount too. Customers literally TRASH the store so when its time for closing, the store is a complete mess and youre there cleaning it up, zoning, folding, and putting clothes in their proper spots until 2am. After you leave the store at 2am many times you are scheduled to come back and open at 6am. Therefore you only have a 4 hour gap between shifts which is NOT enough time to even sleep. That is the norm and store managers and district managers EXPECT you to do this. I'm pregnant and when I asked to go home at midnight so I could at least sleep 2 hours they looked at me like I was kidding. No respect for you when you are having a baby, or even when you arent. If you dont make your daily sales you are scolded even when you did everything you could and there just wasnt anyone in the store buying anything. Senior Management treats employees like trash even though they are only getting paid minimum wage therefore they move slow and dont care about helping you make your sales. District management is a joke. They only care about sales they dont care about employees AT ALL. Our paychecks have been late several times, even up to 1 whole week late and the district manager did NOTHING about it but email us about how we werent making our stores sales. HELLO, you HAVE to pay us! We are not doing vouleenteer work here! The turn over rate is so high from both management to sales associates so you constantly have new people in the store who dont know what they are doing therefore everything takes a long time to do. Employees are given NO training what so ever except a 3 hour orientation that just talks about company policies. New employees are THROWN onto the floor and expected to know where everything goes and what to do which is RIDICULOUS. THIS IS WHY WE ARENT MAKING OUR SALES! BECAUSE OUR EMPLOYEES ARE NOT TRAINED PROPERLY AND DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!! The previous manager at our store got fired when she got pregnant because she had to take time off for doctors appointments and they wouldnt let her. Now I'm pregnant and planning on sticking it out for just 1 more month so I can earn a couple more paychecks to save for the baby and then I'm going to put my 2 weeks in and get the HELL out of there before they work me to death. Employees are constantly getting scheduled the wrong times against their availability so we end up having noone during the day to cover the floor, anotehr reason we dont make sales. This place is a great place to shop because of the cheap clothes but do yourself a favor and do NOT take a job here. It may sound appealing, it sure did to me. But you work WAY too much and put up with way too much crap for the amount you get paid.
