      Good Start Up Job

      Pros

      -Shop and clean at the same time -Get first picks on new arrivals -great job while in school... flexable hours for sale associates -Has pretty good pay for sales associates compared to other clothing stores (not so much for upper management) -I was promoted from within because I worked hard, but it really depends on management. Some managers promotted by favortism and other's focused on hard work. -I had a great experience there. Lots of hecktic and fun memories.

      Cons

      -Forever gets really busy and loud. Sometimes I couldn't even hear myself think. -Music is good, but it gets repetitive (especially Christmas time) -I don't know about now, but I had to work long hours. (latest time I got off was 2:30am) -No weekends off... ever. -huge turnover.. almost competely new staff every couple months.

      I love most of my co-workers. We all get along really well. I've never had a request-off been denied. Many of the managers let us off work much earlier than we really should be getting off (during a closing shift, when it's already after scheduled) because they're pretty young and want sleep and social lives as much as the sales associates do,

      Cons

      Closing shifts are scheduled to end at 10:30 (The store closes at 9:00), but most of the times we get out around 1:00 AM on weekdays. On one school night, I didn't get out until 2:30 because there were only 4 people closing the store. Also, expect to have to deal with some really rude customers. Many of them, for some reason, think that the return policy is your fault, and that you can somehow change it for them. Tons of customers will take dozens of items into the fitting rooms and leave all or almost all on the floor.
