Working at Forever 21 has been one of the worst experiences of my life. I was hired in the beginning of the summer and told I would get a call concerning training and my schedule the following week. That ""following week"" turned into two weeks. I could have literally found another job in that time frame, especially because I needed money. There were no calls or updates, just two weeks of silence. If you chose to work at Forever 21 I guarantee that you WILL be working under some weird clique. Cliques form quick for some reason and it's clear that there is some weird favoritism going on. Managers will allow employees they like talk badly to customers and get away with doing the bare minimum. I recall one customers angrily telling me that everyone in my store was very rude to her which I could not argue with because they were rude to me as well. Forever 21 is also extremely chaotic. Nothing gets done here because there is a combination of too much to do and lazy workers. Things get piled up, put in the wrong section or just sloppily prepared because nobody cares. At this point, I don't either. Forever 21's rather idiotic ""thematic"" sections hinder any organization and have only slight nuances that often lead to clothes being sorted out of place, making it hard for me to give customers any direction of where to find similar clothes. The discount is 10% off which ironically means I can't even afford most of the clothes that they encourage me to wear because I simply can't afford it.

Extremely low bonus paid compared to promised (Recruiter flat out lied during hiring) Few vacation days, no sick days No work from home option even when you are sick or have other emergencies Fired many employees without announcing layoffs (probably illegal) Forcing Korean employees to work on visitor visa.
