Pros

Depending in which group you work, you can learn a lot down to nothing. Some analysts and managers have outstanding experience and skills which make it worthwhile to work for and with them. Very fair working environment, once people trust you, you can do a lot and get far reaching decision making power.

Cons

At the lower end of compensation in the industry, S&P and Moodys pay about 30-60% more while working environment may not be as good. Senior management sometimes works only for itself but lacks a clear objective what they want to achieve for the group. High staff turnover.

Cons

Acceptable compensation and benefit package. Overall workload has notablly increased due to the increased regulation requirement after the global financial crisis.
