Pros

Satisfying mission, good work-life balance, great opportunities for junior people to learn. It is hard to get fired from Fitch.

Cons

Don't benefit from a diverse dialogue, political and clique-y, opportunities for growth and development are stifled. The executive management team is white males in their forties and fifties. Strong women have left the firm because they are not valued.

Pros

- Knew their strengths and played to them - European working style - easy hours and good vacation

Cons

- Their two strengths, structured finance and bank ratings, helped cause the 2008 financial crisis and their revenue base was probably hard hit by it. - Not as serious about the non rating products and services yet had a global team around it - Low pay compared to the other Ratings agencies - Limited career opportunities for advancement and development
