Pros

My direct manager and the people I work with are very nice and do not micromanage me. This is definitely not everyone's experience, so your mileage may vary. The analyst program does allow you to rotate internally to new positions which is theoretically cool

Cons

Brevity is the soul of wit so I will just make a list: Fiserv hired hundreds of recent college grads on the stipulation they would be hybrid 3 days a week in office and reneged on it in less than a year Employees get raises that are significantly less than inflation (pay cut after 1 year) Constantly monitored using tracking software on computers All employees constantly at the whim, beck, and call of senior management with no room for negotiation or reasoning Buildings do not have enough parking/bathrooms for everyone to be full time in office like senior management wants You will get gaslit by senior management on all hands calls where they compare you to McDonald's employees and tell you that if you want to wfh you probably don't belong there even though you were specifically hired with wfh options as part of your package Overall, just recognize that the recruiter that you're talking to is allowed to lie to you and the conditions they offer are not promises and may not even last a full year. Given that, I'm not sure why you would accept any offer.

Pros

They are desperate for bodies, so if you are having trouble finding work it might be a good place to start before you move somewhere else that cares about its employees.

Cons

Fiserv under its current management cares about nothing more than tax cuts and tax incentives. They have been obsessed with moving positions (not people -- they don't seem to care that they are losing droves of knowledgeable people) to certain locations where they get tax incentives. The decision making in this company has been extremely erratic since Frank Bisignano took over as CEO. For example, there was a two week period where the work from home policy changed THREE times. Even worse, people will get notified that their site is safe for the foreseeable future only for that decision to be reversed months later. This company is not reliable and does not care about its employees. This company says that it cares about its clients, but the metrics that they track for Support have nothing to do with customer satisfaction. Instead all that is looked at is how many days you are in the office and how many hours of "work" you track on the company's PC spying software. If you have any other options at all, take that before you take a position at Fiserv. Their decision making is too erratic and they do not keep their word.

Pros

Judging by the astronomical turnover in senior management Fiserv is a great stepping stone in a corporate leadership career. Middle management is in the trenches and supportive of the operational side of the business.

Cons

Fiserv is too big to move with any agility and despite the push for vertical integration there are too many departments and factions that are busy defending their headcount and budget from the constant staffing cuts to focus on improving client service. Multiple departments are paralyzed because entire teams have been cut or quit with no backfill. Leadership remains inflexible on WFH.
