Not an employee friendly company.

Pros

Except for approx 40 leaves in an year, currently there are only cons.

Cons

1) Employees are pushed to come to office 5 days a week. 4 days mandatory and 1 day optional. The flexibility to chose days is also absent. 2) Senior management is mute to employee problems. Mid managers are there to just pass down the messages. 3) Each and everything is tracked using Sapience. Management will say that Sapience is to increase productivity but in actuality it's there to track time. 4) Hikes are meager. You will get hikes in single digits even if company performs well. Don't think about promotions. You won't get it.

Pros

Coworkers are wonderful people who try and care but are simply overwhelmed.

Cons

How much time do you have? The cons list is huge but I will do my best to summarize. 1) Let’s start with the mandatory edict handed out by FB today stating that all “Work from office” employees will need to report beginning 5/1/23. Prepare for the last wave of remaining tenured talent to exit en masse soon. FB tries to sell the whole collaborator thing and that this is what the clients want. The clients don’t care one bit about where someone works. Most clients remain hybrid or fully WFH and they just want their applications to work and issues addressed. 2) Mandatory badge swipes to enter and exit the office. Micromanagement to the nth degree. They sell it as a “security” feature. What happens when there is, God forbid, a fire, natural disaster or active shooter situations whrw people are desperately trying to get out of the office? Is the badge swipe count worth the potential blood on your hands there Frank?

Worst unethical and unflexible work environment

Pros

Some people within the teams are great.

Cons

Unethical working policies and poor management/leadership. No room for growth and no career path. Horrible and toxic culture, a very unhealthy work environment with no flexibility and a lot of micromanagement. They refuse to change the culture or work environment despite what 99% of the industry is doing. If you have any morals or values, this is not a place for you.
