Pros

Lot's of oppotunity given the many businesses and the level of change going on. If you like to work in an environment of change, this is a good place to be.

Cons

Conversion from holding company model to a more centralized operating model (Fiserv 2.0) is taking longer than the market will bear.

Pros

I believe that Fiserv has an equitable salary base. Hard work and dedication seem to pay off in salary and promotions. The benefits are fair with opportunities to participate in 401K and employee stock purchases. There seems to be a good number of dedicated employees.

Cons

Many times, training or other initiatives are started with good intentions, but tend to get dropped in the process. Products are sold before they are ready for the market leaving clients frustrated. Fiserv is composed of many different aquisitions, each having their own product line. Competition between these can have a negative impact when presenting to potential clients.

Pros

Individual business units still have an identity

Cons

Corporate politics and ability of non-performing business units to continue while others pick up their slack financially
