Pros

Good location, nice campus atmosphere Cafeteria program - started out ok, went downhill, then got much better after the company raised the subsidy it paid to the vendor. $3.00/day for breakfast and lunch is a good deal

Cons

Rampant favoritism, periodic layoffs, bosses that were promoted simply because they did a good job somewhere else even though they have no experience in their new position Below average pay, awful benefits, and persistent micromanagement Non-existent communication between higher-ups and lower-level direct reports Lack of communication between departments that may result in more than one group working on the same issue Employees are stressed out, have low morale, and considerable anxiety wondering if they will be the next to be laid off. No raises for two years and when they were reinstituted, limited to no more that 3% Quarterly bonuses are a joke... what used to be as much as 7% (annualized) are now limited to no more the 3% Contant reshuffling of divisions, departments has lead to confusion among employees and has signifcantly hindered productivity Work/Home Life balance...forget about it. The only thing that matters at Fiserv is the bottom line...

Pros

The "checkfree culture' has pretty much disappeared with some small remnants still remaining. The only positive thing is the company cafeteria in Norcross has great food. Other than that, I would NOT recommend Fiserv. Some great people in place but the former COO and several other SVP's are leaving like "rats on a sinking ship."

Cons

The company cuts 5% of it's workforce and the remaining employees are worked like dogs. No recognition, no advancement opportunity, and horrible communication. Morale is at an alltime low and the turnover rate is 25% up from 18% in 2010. Fiserv has not given raises in the last three years. I was a former corporate recruiter for this company and I highly recommend that you do not dead-end your career at this place. Almost everyone I know is looking to leave this place.
