Pros

Never dull. Never boring. Many opportunities to develop world class products

Cons

Politics. EFT has hired people who make procedural changes without knowing the business or our operations.

If you don't mind low pay...

Pros

Good people and lower-level managers. Flexible work hours. Lots of training available for those that want to take advantage of it.

Cons

Low pay and terrible benefits. Excessive offshoring. Managers not allowed to provide raises that keep up with inflation. Upper management indifferent to rewarding their employees for the successful company that they have built. Slackers and over-achievers receive same raises - eventually employees decide there is no reason to work hard.

Pros

General environment is good, there is no pressure related to dress code or in/out timings (which I believe people at times misuse). Management does listen to employee feedback though at times it takes time to implement certain changes and at times they listen but they don't - probably because of cost pressures or because employees ask them to be "too" fair (too here is rhetoric because there cannot be a degree of fairness - you are fair or you are not)

Cons

Over all the company is not bad but it is no more that good as it used to be about 5-6 years ago. Probably the cost cutting pressure has caused the management to behave a little irrationally but I think that's the trend in Indian IT industry!!! IT policies have imposed way too many restrictions causing lots of trouble to employees so many times. And the IT support staff doesn't look really professionally competent. Again probably the result of cost cutting measures.
