Pros

People that you work with, the meal plan at cafeteria

Cons

Bad software upgrades, rollouts, the branch capture, merchant capture doesnt work like it should banks calling in complaining, no Windows 8 support, no IE 10 support, banks leaving all the time (deconverting) for other processing companies. I have never worked for a conpany that will continuosly roll out bad software to customers, this only makes the job worse in my area. Lack of or no training, webcast training, which really is like a bad commercial, you watch and forget. The benefiets are terrible, medical insurance is high with high deductibles, you really cant afford to go to the doctor, and who ever came up with the PTO plan for time off, must have been a proctologist. I could not believe all the negative posts when I came to work here, but believe me they are true for the most part.

Pros

I worked in Pune office for 2 years; (1) They give you good package at start. (2) Admin facility of fiserv - Pune is best, the building at kalyaninagar is awesome, 'johnson and control' does best job to maintain the facility. cubicles, and all floors are well maintained. (3) Recently they added one more floor in the same building it shows that company is growing. (at list they show like that no idea what is the reality) (4) Flexible hours.

Cons

Now lets come to business and see the other side, (1) It doesn't matter that how good you perform your increment will be low and every other person in your team gets increment even if they do not perform at your level (so what is the use of performing well). (2) Onsite exposure is very rare, only managers get onsite (i have seen few managers in fiserv who die for onsite all the time). (3) Few project managers are not technically good, they don't even understand technical terms. (4) If you are not good in buttering managers or pressurizing them you will find yourself working all the time. (5) Technical growth is depend on the project if you got placed in an old product forget about growth. (5) Reward/award system is just for name sake, even non performers get the awards. (6) Transport is not adequate. (7) Very very imp - Fiserv india and Fiserv Inc US are different bodies, so don't think that you are working in US fiserv. (8) Canteen is pathetic, they will deduct 850 rupees from salary every month as meal deduction even if you don't want, no tax exemption on that, you will just loose that money. ALL IN ALL - if you are a good and honest performer having good technical skills fiserv india is not the place where you wanna go, search other option; if you are non performer and good in politics fiserv india is best place for you.
