Pros

Great Training for Class B CDL, Good pay for the work you do, If you do a field trip, you get paid while you sit there and wait.

Cons

Can be stressful driving screaming kids around and being the one responsible for their safety. Hard to get full time hours

Pros

I love the company and my coworkers. The job is interesting and enjoyable. They offeres full training to get the CDL.

Cons

The training took about 2 months and was unpaid, we instead receive a bonus but it doesn't really cover how long you couldn't work while training. Also it's a part time position as far as hours go so despite good pay it's hard to make the income work for my family.

Bad management

Pros

Has nothing to do with First Student. It is dealing with the families that I service.

Cons

Very poor management. Managers constantly place drivers into positions to fail. In Southeastern Pennsylvania corporate wage theft is rampant with drivers being shorted on a constant basis. "Safety First" is only a sales pitch and to be used when going after a driver. Just all round bad management.
