Senior staff and management are highly qualified, aggressive and ambitious. The company has staff geophysicists and geochemists as well as other specialists that support local teams well.

Cons

Work-life balance can be difficult, and in some cases inter-personal relationships can be challenging. The human resources department is not necessarily there to serve the employee.

Most managers, from the top down treat the local employees as if they are second class citizens who should be grateful for a job. If your skin is white you will be promoted and live on the golf estate in little pretoria, with a black skin you're not trusted to see sensitive information or manage departments
