Pros

Free healthcare if you don't mind high deductibles which is good for those who don't need to use their health insurance often but still want coverage. 401k matching up to 10%, but with a catch (check out the cons to learn about that).

Cons

Below market pay. There's this mentality that employees cannot achieve an exceeds rating in performance, that there's always room for improvement, and this guarantees that you will never earn the highest raise possible. The corporate culture is just that...corporate. Expect the usual corporate nonsense such as rah rah parties, lame events, company provided junk food from time to time, and a patronizing attitude as to why even if they paid you more it would never be enough. Time off is pathetic. Sick time and vacation time share the same pool of hours. Planned a trip later in the year but got sick and used all your PTO? Too bad...looks like you're canceling your planned trip. 401k matching only happens once per year, and you only get the match if you're still employed with the company on December 31st, otherwise you forfeit the match regardless of how much you contributed throughout the year. The company is run by a bunch of old guys who don't believe in remote work even though the job can literally be performed anywhere with a solid wifi connection. I think they just want to micro-manage.

Thank you for your feedback. We think 100% paid med/den/vision is a great benefit, and a 401k match of 10% is better than most out there, but we realize it's not for everyone. We are always open to ideas to improve our company culture, benefits, and work/life balance, so feel free to drop your suggestions on how you change them in any of our anonymous boxes, or feel free to sit in on any of the roundtables with the CEO and share your ideas so we can continue to build a great place to work.

Pros

They care a lot about their employees and show it through generous benefits, team building activities, bonuses, and flexible schedules. If you work hard it will be acknowledged - occasionally. It was a fun place to work at times - especially during the holidays. They genuinely care about their customers and want to do right by them. My team was ABSOLUTELY amazing and I considered them very close while I worked there - they cared about me and cheered on my success. My team and our closeness was one of the biggest reasons I stayed as long as I did with the company.

Cons

A lot of office drama, some of the managers are rude/short, a lot of division amongst the different departments. It was clear that working in the customer support department was not a highly looked upon or acknowledged position - by other coworkers, managers, and upper C levels - even though it is the core of the company that keeps customers retained and happy. There was a lot of secret keeping behind closed doors.

Pros

They benefits are good but you never stop hearing about them as excuse for why everything else is lacking

Cons

Low salary, don’t value their employees, C level executives are incredibly dismissive and condescending, no regard for work/life balance, and almost anyone in a position of power (from managers to executives) bully employees into keeping their concerns private, providing good responses to “best place to work” surveys, and discourage any kind of open communication about concerns between any employees.
