Pros

There are no Pros to this company

Cons

There are a handful of professional people in this company but unfortunately, the rest have no respect for others. You will have people that will literally yell at you via email and disrespect you, and there are no consequences. Everyone just chooses to look the other way. Upper Management does not acknowledge their employees and there are definitely favorites. Asking questions is looked down upon and they expect you to know everything right off that bat, and watch out if you make a mistake. When I interviewed I was told the company was open to suggestions and feedback, which is a complete lie. The response you will always receive is "that is the Ferrero way". It is an Italian company, in the US, trying to run business the same way they would in Europe but that does not work well for them. Lastly, the company has a reputation for micromanaging. Managers don't trust their employees unless they are Italian. Good luck if you don't read, write, or speak Italian. The company culture leaves a lot to desire.

Pros

Fantastic brands with great marketing and investment; lovely offices

Cons

Staff are brainwashed by management into thinking and operating a certain way. It is a highly arrogant business. Stress levels are high amongst everyone, work life balance is poor and micro-management is common. Ferrero operates a blame culture, and because they manage to create their own Ferrero 'bubble' , staff begin to accept it as a normal way to work. Stay too long and you become 'Ferrero-ised'. Bullying is not uncommon and largely ignored by management; promotions are given only to those whose 'face fits', which results in management positions being filled by people with poor or no man management skills and not suited to the roles. No support or training is offered to fill the skill gap. Nepotism is rife; back-stabbing is evident in certain functions, as are 'inappropriate' work relationships. Management and HR ignores it all. Combined with the fact that everyone is overworked, this all makes the environment highly toxic and extremely unpleasant. AVOID.

Pros

I wish I could provide the 20 word minimum but I can say that my colleagues and our office were lovely

Cons

Disorganized, heavily masculine culture. Truly toxic, with senior leadership who micromanage, massive employee turnover, limited growth and poor work life balance. Who takes away summer hours during a pandemic?!
