Pros

Decent compensation. Potential for improvement if leadership is overhauled.

Cons

Working here was an incredibly frustrating and stressful experience due to the toxic culture and unqualified leadership. Many individuals in leadership roles, especially those overseeing HR services, lack the necessary expertise and understanding of their teams’ challenges. To make matters worse, they show little interest in improving or addressing feedback. This creates serious compliance risks and a demoralizing environment. Managers prioritize cozying up to the SVP of HR and maintaining appearances rather than addressing real issues. HR leadership routinely attempts to skirt employment laws to target employees they dislike, creating an unsafe and unethical environment. One key figure in HR services leadership is particularly problematic—uninformed, unprofessional, and prone to bullying. Despite numerous complaints and even people leaving the company as a direct result, this person remains in their role, backed by equally ineffective management. Their combined lack of knowledge and poor behavior leads to constant mistakes, damaged relationships, and an increased workload for the rest of the team, who are left to clean up the mess. The stress of working here far outweighs any potential financial benefits. For now, avoid it at all costs.

You get discounted or free candy.

Cons

Overall, the NJ office is full of toxic, nasty people with the E-commerce Marketing team being the worst. Run.

Pros

Great to have on a CV for a future job

Cons

Most of the meetings are in Italian even though some people around the table can't speak the language. Very old fashioned way of managing employees : no trust, no progression (especially for women), very hierarchical
