Unhappy employee in Lux

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Good name on CV

Cons

Well it seems it a headquarter in Lux offices but unfortunatly managment is so weak. X generation managment system insisting on Y and Z generation young white collors. Its insane that you dont feel any HR support for growing path in the company. If you are italian and you worked in the company more than 15 years well only you deserve sth .... Otherwise you are just a fish in big unhappy ocean.

Not a place for young talents

Pros

Iconic Brands in European Markets They will never fire you

Cons

Not for young, talented professional, plenty of people of 40's, 50's enjoying their comfort zone. Very slow, political and "Italian" mentality. You're not a resource for the Group, only for your boss.

Pros

Normally management offers flexible hours as long as you preform. Good company to work for if you have a young family and no aspirations to move up the latter. Ferrero does offer very good medical benefits.

Cons

Family oriented organization and continued to be promoted in this manner. Perhaps, 15 years ago when management actually cared about employee and did not allow inexperienced and selfish HR manager move in from overseas to run every part of the organization. Never understood how one individual can be capable of making decisions for every facet of the company without any technical or direct experience in those areas of expertise. Anyone working for the company can notice how negative the atmosphere has developed over the past year. Employees are promised certain positions or promotions within a time frame which in the end does not materialize. No training or support offered. Any new employees have to be a self-motivator and DO NOT expect that anyone is going to be there to show you the ropes.
