Pros

I have worked with Family First Life for a little over a year. I am able to homeschool my kids and work a successful business. I just saw my numbers and realized i am among the top 100 in the company! This is due to their management, high-energy motivation, beyond-amazing training, AND comp structure. Even if they're not directly in my organization, everyone is so willing to help because it really is a "Family First" mentality.

Cons

If you consider it a con, you have to be disciplined and work hard. If you want to sit around and NOT work YOUR business, do not expect to be successful. This is for driven individuals. Seriously, the only way to not be successful is to not be consistent, determined and follow through. Conversely, you WILL be successful if you are consistent, determined, and follow through. If you don't care about helping families, do not even call about working here. From the top down, we are determined to help as many families (consumers and agents) as possible.

Pros

Unlike other IMOs FFL has a unique business model. It is helping families first but the company also takes good care of its producers by offering what the others don't... a solid program, all the training and support agents need, great carriers, fast issue, FRESH leads and, oh yeah, some of the idustry's highest commissions. You get all of the support you need WITHOUT the daily cheerleading conference calls like other IMOs. FFL, for me, has been a great place to work and I don't see myself leaving any time soon. They don't recruit everyone and their mothers; we are more particular about who gets hired so there aren't huge agent turn over rates. Additionally, you seldom hear the words up line or down line and there is no pressure to get even your own grandmother licensed and added to your down line. FFL cares about quality not quantity when it comes to their agents. I could go on with how great they are but I'll close with this: other IMOs have their daily calls and will constantly tell you that they are number one in the industry. At FFL, the CARRIERS get on the call and tell us we are number one. I feel blessed to be a part of what they are doing.

Cons

The biggest con is all of the fake reviews on this site. It's sad but when you're taking over the industry, others get scared and do what they can to make you look bad, I guess. I've had a great experience so far. I actually feel like I was rescued from the cult-like culture at my last IMO.

Pros

Family first life is by far the best IMO I have ever seen. They offer top compensation of 140%!!! Need I say more? They have incredible leads, the best sales training in the industry, incredible carriers, incentive trips, an incredible bonus program, vested renewals from day one, and cash bonuses at our Annual National Sales Conference, which by the way is free and the way it is supposed to be. They teach people how to be winners. My income has significantly increased each year I've been with family first life. Yours could do the same.

Cons

I guess the only downside I can think of is when you're number one people are gunning for you. Our competitors seem to get upset that we offer such high compensation and FFL gives the agents their renewals as they deserve them.
