Pros

Continual training and new resource development. ZERO charge for training and conferences that clearly cost tens of thousands of dollars to the company to put on.

Cons

Insurance is an industry that no one sets out to be in and there are things that either make a person a fit or not.

Pros

After college, I didn't want to lose my freedom to a full-time job, but I also didn't want to be broke. A friend told me about Family First Life, and I was not interested in selling insurance because of misconceptions. After I lost my job I begrudgingly I started to study for my insurance exam. I got my license. Over time I got better and better at closing deals. This career slowly grew on me! I love selling insurance, and it leaves me the freedom to travel as much as I want and I get to help families. The comp and renewals are outstanding.

Cons

Although I can take time off you have to work to make money. This is not a job for those with a play hard mentality.

Pros

My kids are still young so I am working part time but I can attest this is the most money I can make working part time! I do calls when the kids are in school and a few evenings a week. This is a great company with a great culture. We serve the people who need help in getting insurance and protecting their families. We are never to push a sale on someone who does not want or need our help.

Cons

I can't even think of a con to report. I work for myself.
