Pros

The culture that Family First Life provides is like no other, everyone in the company will go out of their way to help you no matter what "team" you are on. Shawn Meaike & all the VP's are dedicated to helping any and everyone achieve their goals with this company. Compensation plan is the best I have ever seen. Renewals DAY one! Training IS FREE! Leads (FFL has TONS) + Appointments (they will train you!!) = Success!

Cons

I love working with such a awesome group of agents that want to see you succeed!

We do offer the highest comp in our industry, on both MP and FE (140/130). We do sell a mix of Mortgage Protection and Final Expense which we are very upfront about to all of our new agents. As far as "throwing you to the wolves" with weekly training calls with our top producers, nationwide training at Sales Conferences throughout the year, hundreds of hours of archived audio and video training, which is all free to every FFL agent, along with regional support from top managers within FFL it is not humanly possible to be "thrown to the wolves" with Family First Life.

Pros

lead quality, COMPENSATION LEVEL, training convenience, human connection, no quota, incredible mentorship, manager who teach are doing the same job as the people they are teaching. All conventions and training is free and we have the chance to see incredible motivational speakers like Dave Anderson FOR FREE. Freedom to work when I want, where I want nationwide. I can hire people in my hierarchy if I want to and not worry about me having to train them (other people know waaaay more than me). Any and pretty much every manager, even they are not in my hierarchy offered their cell phone number for ANYONE to call if we have questions. Response from managers is quite immediate. The president works hard for the companies to pay agents more (Thanks so much Shawn M.) After being in the insurance industry for 5 years and with different companies, I have NOT found yet anything better than what FFL provides it's agents. On top of it, there is NO contract, unlike many other companies that label you as an independent contractor yet they make you fill out a contract, either captive or as a broker. Finds new ways of providing leads to agents, FFL creates, yes, creates new ways to serve its agents so in turn the agents can serve the people. 100% VESTING since day one. FFL managers help way more beyond the scope of the professional life, they extend a helping hand in any area of life. They highly respect family and our time with our family.

Cons

If you are not close to a manager who has an office, unless you provide your own, you don't have an office. I have a hard time focusing at home, but I guess it's not a con since we are running our own independent businesses.
