      Pros

      My wife did not want me to give up my day job when I joined FFL. I have been working in the field for about three months, and I think in another month she will be convinced that this job is for real. It's really great, and I am a more engaged father and more relaxed because I am not under a bosses thumb. The comp is great, they helped me get my license, and I didn't have to sign a contract.

      Cons

      Weekend working is terrible but I make sure to take off at least once a month.

      Pros

      I am a founder of FFL. We scraped by in the beginning but Shawn Meaike had a vision and we followed him. Glad I toughed it out. Now I am a board member and I am so lucky to mentor young agents in how to follow in my footsteps. I still get out in the field because that is where my heart lies!

      Pros

      I started working in the office of one of the FFL agencies. The corporate office flew us up to Connecticut for training as we were a new agency. They were terrific to us helping everyone learn their job. I came home to our new office, and still everyone was there to help via email and phone. After a month, I started studying for my licensing exam, and I became an agent. I love working with Family First Life and their culture of positivity!
