Pros

You are technically independent at FFL

Cons

You are dependent on resold leads. I've been there for years and watched agents get bullied into getting old leads. Dialing the phone is school. Some managers will use and abuse your time and prey on you to make money. Don't Trust management in NJ and FL. Newer IMOs are paying higher COMP with less the drama. If you are not part of the "club" you will be "locked out" from the good leads

Pros

If you are an experienced (already licensed and selling insurance) they have good carriers. If you don't need a lot of help, try getting under an upline as high as possible so you aren't stuck making low comp so everyone above you can rake in your money.

Cons

They market themselves as a non MLM company despite having hierarchies that require you to hire agents below you to get the comp that they advertise. You are told you can work your own schedule and hours but are scolded for taking off holidays, putting your family above your job and having any sort of work/life balance. You're told you aren't motivated or don't care about people if you want to work less than 80 hours a week or make less than $3M dollars, because your 'manager' or upline is making money off of you. Do not believe their 'no contracts' BS. I've seen them keep many agents captive because they were making them too much money off of them and don't want them to leave.

Pros

I love my mentor and YouTube Training Support. I've worked my butt off.

Cons

The leads seem way over utilized as when I call people they have already sold or had 3-4 people already call them. I pay for something that has been over stimulated. I also realized a few months in that I had bought some leads and when trying to buy new ones, they were the exact same leads. People I work with deny it but I saw it for myself and know. I'm not lying they just want my commission more than hear me.
