Beware: good for experience but not good to stay until retirement
Pros
The pros I have is you get to work remote and the benefits where better than my last job before it, they gave me three weeks to start off for vacation and the original supervisor that hired me also worked to get me a little more money starting out to get me to come work for them. Other than that it was a good place to gain experience and that is all.
Cons
I worked as a System Analyst I for 5 years, far as raises go I got one every year expect for the last two years I was there and they used the pandemic as a reason behind not giving out raises to our department. Also the Director we had over our team was not all that friendly with people under him and also with other teams. I was on a call with our team and other teams and he started to go off on some of the staff on the call. That doesn't make a good work environment for anyone dealing with that. I also felt like my coworkers didn't care about their job anymore so they wouldn't provide assists on some issues or tickets so I would have to wait until one of them had time to help, mind you the department itself isn't very busy so it take them 2 hours to help out. The lack of communication, training on new systems and the attitude of everyone on the team makes it a place not desired to work at anymore.
