Stay away from India Markets banking

Company policies are excellent as they are setup at the global level. CEO and overseas management has great vision and execution.
Cons
India Markets (FIS Payment Solutions or FIS PSS) is one of the worst divisions to work in, especially the Banking vertical. The HR is led by a lady who has not worked a single day in her career. All your complaints will fall on deaf ears (including complaints of harassment or corruption). Management does not care about its employees, all good employees have left. This division hasn't had a single new customer in over 5 years now, and is running huge losses. They follow a hire-and-fire policy, hiring whenever a client has asked for a few resources, and firing them without reason a few months later. You will have ABSOLUTELY NO JOB SECURITY. There isn't any work life balance either. As these are banking customers, that too Indian clients, you will be forced to work on weekends and at odd hours daily to keep them happy. All the systems developed and managed by FIS are buggy, so most of your time will be spent on production support. You will not get any resources or training but will be expected to keep the systems running, else your job is on the line. You cannot even claim internal transfers to move to different departments as your manager will never approve it. Just stay away from this vertical. If you are joining erstwhile Sungard, you are in luck - it is a great place to be, although FIS has kind of ruined their culture too.
