Management is the worst. They wear you down so that you don't want to be there any more. Their way is the best way no matter what. If you can go along with the way they want it done, you'll work out. If you think you have a better way, good luck! And when you do try to do it their way, it is still not exactly what they want from you. They have acquired too many companies over the years and don't know how best to manage all of the diverse business opportunities in their midst.

I had actually typed out a really long and detailed explanation of how terribly run a company FIS is, but I decided a simple answer would be clear enough. - The 401k, stock matching, and health benefits are about average for a company that size. If you are a in a position that requires you to be able to: get answers to questions, respond quickly to customer requests/complaints, make decisions and act upon them without approval of 3+ people who likely only 1 has any idea of what it is you do, and so on... FIS is not the place for you.
