Large presence in the financial industry.

Cons

The merger between FIS and Metavante required a tremendous amount of consolidation of internal systems and data. It is still chaos. Rather large security breach was ignored by the company until the FFEIC started sending letters to our clients. Now there is a very unorganized effort to secure anything and everything. No direction from the top in this effort - every business unit has to solve the same issue other bu's may be solving but no information is shared.

Working at FIS, they gave me an opportunity where I thought there was none in the state of Florida .My experience with the company seems to be ever involving. My co-workers and management help to make my transition very easy.

Cons

Sometimes working with non-technical personal might require more patience than one would think, but it teaches one about themselves and how can that be a bad thing. It sometimes did not help with timelines, but in the end the job got done correctly.
