Pros

Outside of the department there is a lot of opportunity for growth. Benefits and Retirement a plus!

Cons

The Benefits Operation Center is extremely unorganized and micromanaged. No proper (if any) training and it's a dog-eat-dog department. Senior specialist are unlikely to help and when you make a mistake they make sure everyone knows it.

Pros

Excellent benefits and perks for being an ASI. Flexible work schedule and great support from current employees. Working special aviation events and Air Shows.

Cons

Tough to get in, but when you do your set. OJT program needs to be streamlined and standardized from the Trainers perspectives. Takes about 12-16 months to complete all training and earn your credentials.

Pros

Great pay, benefits, travel, retirement, and not expected to work overly hard.

Cons

Upper management makes knee jerk decisions and seem to be mostly in the dark about how the process really works from the bottom up. Union is more concerned with getting more for doing less than they are about quality work. Frontline managers get hit from above and below with no support from either.
