Pros

Good pay. Good benefits. The variety of work is probably the best thing. In my office they support a good work-life balance. So telework, flexible schedules all help to make you feel more in control of your life.

Cons

Constant change. People in DC and regions have to much control and send down thier pet projects for us to collect data. Meanwhile we waste time and resources on these useless projects that look great from 30000 ft but really just steal me away from doing the real safety work. Our documentation system are not made to our GA world. More and more GA is the square peg in the round hole. Also, GA work is very busy but someone does not think it is complex and so our pay suffers compared to our airline friends who do less work with more resources and better pay.
