Pros

Pay is decent. Ability for full pension after 25 years of service.

Cons

Schedule. (You'll never see your family) Overtime. (A lot work 6 day work weeks) Lack of sleep. (You work nights, days, and overnight shifts all in the same week) Have to work many major holidays, nights, weekends.

Pros

-Telework available up to 3 days per week -Labor and employee relations positions equivalent to GS-13 at full performance level -Overall good work environment

Cons

-Pay not equivalent to GS Scale. Can be a disadvantage if it is you’re first Federal Agency in regard to pay setting -No full time telework -No upward mobility unless you are willing to relocate to DC -No in position increases for high performers
