Large company sometimes lacks the personal touch. There is a focus on checking off items on a worklist, not on doing the job well. The 2 year job rotations does not hold engineers accountable if their solution fails drastically 5 years later. Pattern of promoting 2-4 year engineers into management roles, creates leaders who sometimes lack the technical chops needed for their role. Lots of time is spent progressing tasks through the systems.

Supervisors ( mostly Hungarian ) lack basic people skills, which fits right with their non-existent technical knowledge. It will be a hard lesson learned later on the job market for sure. You can make a carrier here by not doing anything just focusing on visibility, safety, and ergonomics. The best way up on the ladder to make someone else do the job for you, and then steal the thunder for the management.
