Hypocrite Management

Pros

Very Good Infrastructure and location Decent Pay as per industry standards.

Cons

Company claims safety and health of employees is top priority. But in current corona situation they are forcing employees to come back to office even if nature of work is not critical and can be done remotely. Such hypocrite management. This is not a product company. The work culture is completely like service provider companies like tcs, infosys. There is micromanagement and over-controlling management.

Pros

Amazing benefits, pays well in early career. Some pretty good global travel opportunities (in business class when flying international). Exposure to a very diverse industry. A lot of really great people work here.

Cons

The stock price says a lot but if analyst got to see the employee forum run by the CEO recently, the stock price would be cut in half. He has no idea how crucial his employee base is and continually dismissed concerns. He seems hell-bent on treating his employees the same way as they always have instead of recognizing the world has changed and employees have different needs. This is a company that can’t see past its 125 years of success to recognize the real threats in the digital future. It’s going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

Pros

Pension plan, 401k match, beautiful campus

Cons

You are ranked with co workers to determine raises and promotions. So even if you worked your butt off and did a great job, you may not get recognized for it, especially if someone a level or 2 higher doesn’t particularly like you and has input despite not really knowing what you contribute. It is biased and unfair. This has led to a competitive, untrusting environment. Certain groups are perceived to be better than others and get higher rankings even though in reality they aren’t any better.
