      Decent Pay + Benefits, Working with helpful professionals (as long as they weren't in your peer group or your salary grade)

      Cons

      Brutal culture of back biting and self-aggrandizement. This leads to an obsession with arbitrary processes, unsolicited peer auditing, safety witch-hunts, and a focus on the perception of contribution more than the creation of lasting improvements. 60hr work weeks make payrate uncompetitive.

      - Above average pay in Houston and in the industry

      Cons

      - If you are in IT, pay is below average comparing to tech companies of the same size - Too much fat at the top in the IT org: senior management and leadership are clueless and mostly non-technical. Decision making from the leadership is poor and often for shows and power grabbing, not for the good will of the company. - Morality is extremely low. Regular developers suffer the most from bad leadership.

      Initially the pay may seem very attractive, however, you quickly realized that it is not worth it.

      Cons

      - hypocritical in caring and promoting diversity (prejudice against certain group of people) - old buys club and a subjective ranking system where the most qualified people doesn't get the promotion -nobody wants to do the work, there is a 10 managers to 10 people ratio -arrogance, yet the company is doing really bad -the worst management I have ever seen in a company -they continue to promote people not meant to be in management / leadership -they do not care for technical capability as long as you know how to present in a meeting, they believe that you are Einstein
