Pros

All contacts I communicated with at the corporate level were very nice and helpful, so my senior management rating was a 3. Instead of a 4 or 5 since they were all pleasant to work with, the rating was dropped due to letting just anyone with enough money to buy a franchise get into the company.

Cons

Individual responsible for sales is accepting near impossible requests just to gain any client she could, which was a waste of time. Then when I couldn't find a suitable individual to interview that the client would possibly consider it was all my fault. I had a better chance of filling an order for a leprechaun with 10 years experience in riding a unicorn sometimes. I remember one time I was looking for candidates who needed to be skilled in so many different areas that the salary for that type of person according to Glassdoor was $70,000+ a year! This position was going to pay $10 hourly and I had so many people laugh at me or scold me for wasting their time when I called! It was embarrassing to be the one calling people about such a degrading "opportunity" and why would the person doing the sales care? They didn't have to pitch such a ludicrous idea to a worker searching for a new job. All they cared about was getting this new franchise off the ground and show corporate they were making the sales expected, regardless of whether they are ultimately fulfilled or not, which they won't be and ALL of the blame is on you.

Pros

Extensive resources, intense hands-on training, fast-paced. Wonderful business model structure in theory -needs to be tailored per market that offices are in. CEO's mission and brand are authentic.

Cons

Unrealistic quotas/goals. Upper management didn't have a true handle on what the market really looked like and expected goals to be met that were not in proportion to the actual market available. Was on salary and worked extensive hours regularly, often had to eat lunch at my desk. Pay was fair for the area, however, the amount of labor and dedication it took to for the office/position to succeed was also extremely disproportionate. Definitely does not recognize employees as individuals.
