Pros

Work with a great group of people, excellent benefits.

Cons

Company treats employees like children, installing spyware on work laptops, restricting access to install software, and running updates/restarts and controlling laptop whenever they want including while you work.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments! We are happy to hear you have enjoyed the total rewards and benefits Experian offers. As a large company that deals with personal data, we have to take precautions to ensure the privacy of both our customers and employees. We do our best to ensure that all our teams and employee’s teams feel respected and happy in their current roles, but we appreciate your feedback in this area. Pros

Even before the pandemic I thought the company cared a lot, but even more so now. Communication from leadership has been great and staff have no pressure to return to the office. The business is very resilient and is in a good place. It’s evident that the business is trying to improve its tools and frameworks and push industry best practise. Staff are trusted to take ownership and make the right decisions. There is no micro-management.

Cons

The business has grown through acquisition so is still very siloed. More collaboration is needed between business units. This would save costs, licenses etc and foster a closer community. As a result, room for career progression appears somewhat limited. Being a big data company involves a certain amount of red tape, but this is understandable and for good reason. The only drawback is a large in-house IT organisation who are quite slow and incompetent.
