Free gym membership, pretty friendly atmosphere and easy job roles. Seek to promote internally but little room to progress through linear structure.

Cons

Clueless and unprofessional management. Draconian sales principles, very poor comission structure and only paid on target. Bad working hours, monotonous and repetitive work. Bare minimum of breaks and generally low pay.

Pros

The centre I worked at the lifeguards have to work on reception which gives you more experience. Friendly team. Flexible hours. Opportunity to continue working part time provided that you keep up the training.

Cons

It was not a high wage. The hours changed each week so that being part time I didn't know when I'd be working and how much. However, you could swap hours with your colleagues
