Great opportunity for hard workers

Pros

Lots of upward mobility, great benefits, clear expectations and lots of help to achieve goals. Employees seem to really take the core values to heart - there's a lot of will to win and a lot of employees reaching out to make others better. Good energy in the offices, lots of team building events, etc. everything is based upon how hard you work - those who perform are well rewarded. This isn't the company for lazy people wanting a cushy job.

Cons

Lots of young employees, sometimes it's hard to get everyone on the same page and close the generation gaps.

Pros

Working for APEX on the NMCI/NGEN will show you what the bottom of the barrel IT job really is. You will strive to be better and work for better companies or just get out of the IT field all together.

Cons

The turnover on the NMCI/NGEN contract is unreal due to how bad the contract was written, management decisions and only looking out for the company and not considering the employee at all. Not only does APEX have no concern for traveling IT techs but they agree to contracts with so much red tape that make filing travel claims virtually impossible for the tech to receive money back. As a traveling tech for APEX expect to spend your savings to live off of while on travel but don't expect to be reimbursed for a good chuck of it when you file your travel claim later. They make money on the backs of traveling techs then turn around and spit in their face when they ask to be reimbursed. To be told that you only get compensated for gas as long as you travel over 50 miles one way or have to travel 50 miles to work then turn around and travel another 50 miles from your office out to a site and still not receive compensation for gas or a rental car is unbelievable, however this is standard excepted practice at APEX. On top of all of this the benefit package offered by APEX is a joke at best. If they can nickel and dime it, APEX will!! Then they turn around and blame it on how the contract was written and not the inability of management to look out for the people working on the contract.

BIG Reward for Hard Work

Pros

It is a sales job, so you determine how hard you work and how much you want to make. The commission structure is incredible and having interviewed at both of our top competitors before I joined the team, I know it is the highest! Everyone is young and work hard, play hard describes our culture to a tee. If you are driven and want to make a lot of money, this is the place for you!

Cons

It's sales... Everything is not always going to go your way. You can't let it get you down. The reward outweighs the hardships.
