Pros

You can make a lot of money IF* your clients are growing in the IT space and IF* you are assigned profitable clients. Offices are kept clean and organized. Supplies are always stocked. Floating holidays are great.

Cons

Low base pay with no real support from management. The more tenured employees can be stand off-ish and sometimes flat out nasty. Those who are top producers are allowed to get away with anything with no repercussions for their behavior. There is little to no diversity in race, gender, or sexual orientation especially in management. Management will pin you against your co-workers and call it “healthy competition”, which can get unhealthy really quickly. The way they speak about former employees, business partners, and consultants is unprofessional to say the least. It’s truly high school all over again with an extra dose of drama & toxicity.

Pros

If you don't have a clearance, they sponsor one. Weekly paychecks. If contracted to someone, you will only be contacted when your POC changes.

Cons

Work/Life Balance: You are a contracted employee, so they don't really take your time. The main contractor wants 50hrs/wk, but if you can't, they are fine with it. Career Opportunities: No career progression. Senior Management: Management doesn't answer questions, they just try and change the topic when they don't have a proper answer. Other than the above, no comment on Senior Management. No one really talks to you from the company, you'll get a mass email once a week/month. Values: Don't really know companies values, read below regarding compensation to see why values is rated so low. That is my only impression on the companies values. Compensation: If you want to work for Apex, expect to make a minimum of 12% less than every other sub contractor. "We provide a lot of support." Other than them ordering bagels and donuts to where your contract is located, they have very limited support. Also, expect your point of contact with the company to change about 5 times each year. Other Subcontractors: Man Power G CORP

Pros

Uncapped commission, sales/relationship building experience

Cons

This review is coming from someone who was a top performer (which is the only type of employees they care about). Commission is extremely hard to earn. They give you false information during the interview about timelines and earnings, when in reality, it takes almost 2 years to earn more more than minimum wage. They require a bachelors degree, yet they pay you minimum wage. Your base pay is so low that you have just enough to pay for basic expenses/bills. They don’t invest in your personal growth and development at all and they don’t set you up for long term success if your role.
