Pros

Got to drive a good range of vehicles - brand new good quality and luxury vehicles. Running a small branch kept us below the radar and able to adapt better to local situations as long as we still performed and kept quiet. For example, as a rule, we didn't charge people extra for being a few hours late returning their vehicle. It was a very effective local goodwill gesture and contributed in part to us achieving the highest customer feedback ratings in the country. Met some interesting customers.

Cons

New Zealand operations answer to Melbourne. Not always able to understand or appreciate New Zealand's diverse requirements. 2015. Change in New Zealand senior management eradicated years of goodwill and well-established working protocols. They were replaced with suspicion, baseless accusations, and bullying. This contributed in part to a national staff turnover of over 100% by 2019.
