Horrible Management and HR

Business Outlook

Pros

Fast paced atmosphere makes days go fast.

Cons

Very poor management!!! Manager committed all kinds of food code violations, consistently bullied and exhibited mean, childish behavior. Manager was reported to HR several times. HR department is almost impossible to get to. Called four times to HR and waited on hold a collective 4 hours. When they did answer, were rude, condescending and defensive. I remained professional and was not listened to. I really do not think they care. If you work here, you are just a number working for the managements bottom line, and they will stick up for each other no matter how wrong it gets.

Pros

Great for learning from other chefs and using as a step stool

Cons

No official training, they will leave you to sink, poor morale, no more incentives, no more holiday turkeys or pies, constant pay rate freezes, always understaffed, poor health and dental, relying on temps too much, no bonuses, and they ride the grey shaded area of the law regarding anything pertaining to breaks, they have the most paperwork and audits out of all the food service companies, training programs are below standard, they love to underbid like sodexho, which leads to overexpectation from clients and pay freezes
