Pros

Flexible work timings :- but depends on the manager's. Apart from CTC they will reimburse the mobile Bill(depends on the grade),and food subsidy.

Cons

"Ericsson is not a Product based company, In india it is purely into service. Don't join by the brand Name as we know the Indian Working culture". Moreover Ericsson is competing with service based companies like Accenture, CTS, TCS,..But as far as my Experience no where they can stand infront of Sevice based companies by having this incapable Manager's, over all I can say not a Right place to Developer's (Technical people). *No Salary Hikes :- Once after getting into this company even top/Great performers will get at max 8% Hike. Which will not going to make any difference(We can consider as a petrol allowance) *Manager's are not at all having basic technical knowledge. *In Ericsson India, Management says and celebrates that Ericsson is "Great Place to work" by themselves. But it is not at all a great place to work. *If anyone really interested to learn new technologies please don't join this company. If you are not looking forward to learn things & interested in just coming to office and go then this is a nice for you. *Work Life Balance:- Wherever you go this is purely depends on the project which you are put up in.Here in Ericsson i Would say not good or not bad. *HR :- HR's in Ericsson is really worst I never ever seen these kind of HR professional's in my 7 years of IT Career. They don't have any work here. I f we approach HR for any kind of queries immediately they will say You can contact Line Managers who are really very worst than HR. *Job security:- Ericsson doesn't have any pipeline projects due to that they are Laying Off Employees.Ericsson's revenue is relying on Patents which they have done in earlier days."No Job Security"

Pros

- international company - not bad if you are in management

Cons

- Salary below average for majority of regular employees, management is overpaid - Discrimination towards employees, yearly >10% lay-offs in RNAM to bust profit (bonus for management). New employees are imported from low cost countries and positions are moved to Plano, USA. - Very hard to change group and to advance if you are not part of the “club” - Unethical and incompetent management - Employees are forced to work long hours, to travel during weekends and to work for weeks on the customer’s sites without any compensation – customer is charged for all work. Per Diem is minimal and after 4 weeks cut down for additional 30%. - HR is non-existing as organization and they are one of the leaders in changes to implement pyramid (low cost employees on the bottom and reach management on the top). This strategy was presented several times to all employees. .. list can go on (I worked for over 10 years for this company) and this review is for the region North America organization and their management
