Pros

Great place to get experience in sales and customer service. You'll have plenty of time during the day to learn sales skills over the phone, since that is the majority of the day. You'll also have the ability to drive all different vehicles all of the time. The office environment is great! You'll never have a dull moment throughout the day. Overall since you are out and about and multitasking to the fifth degree your days hardly every drag.

Cons

The biggest downside to starting out at Enterprise is that you will have four to five people telling you what to do. At my office there is my branch manager, my assistant manager, and two management assistants that all delegate stuff right down to me. The other part is not completing something crucial to the daily operations because you have to stop everything and drive a customer home or pick them up. I have cause a few headaches for my branch manager because cars return and you know they have but you can't pend any contracts because you have to have a sense of urgency and hop to any customer's wants and needs. Thats where the ESQI comes into play.

Pros

Professional training in the fields of marketing and BSing customers. How to deal with the embaressment of telling customers that the reseration they made months ago is not available.

Cons

Unrealistic expectation, threats of write ups and job loss if expectations are not met. Absolutely no time for the lving of a personal life. And of course no compensation for the 49 long hours you work every week for your measly salary of 31.500

Pros

If you can sell this is an excellent place to work because they compensate very well for top sellers and promotion opportunities are endless. IF you can sell. I worked in HR and it was great. The office environment at corporate is awesome! A ton of little perks that make it worth coming in everyday.I did do sales for a little while and that is what ultimately lead me to quit. I could not do what they asked of me.

Cons

It seemed to me that the work-life balance is very difficult to keep. They work the Management trainees a lot. Plus, there is a ton of stress to sell, sell, sell. Also, I think the product that they sell is really not needed and that made it very difficult for me to try to sell. But, as I am sure you can tell, I am not a very good salesperson to begin with. However if you can last long enough to get a job in the corporate building it is really nice. No downsides there other than the fact that you are working. :)
