Pros

-Great benefits -If you perform well in sales and customer service, you will get promoted fairly quickly your first time. -If you work at the airport, you can make great bonuses if you sell and up-sell well (+$200-$600/mo) -It's VERY hard to lose your job with Enterprise, even when you try (which is good in this econ)

Cons

-If your boss is friends with someone else more and they perform less, that person will get promoted into management before you. Happened many times. -Very long hours -One of the lowest hourly rates you can be paid for someone who has a college degree ($11.88/hr) -Most branches, customers are very tired from a flight or got into an accident and will take their frustrations out on you. It can be very stressful, even if you have patience with people -You'll work with a lot of people who you'll wonder who they ever got the job, and more so why they still haven't been fired yet. Enterprise doesn't know when to let go sometimes of people who just aren't cutting it. They'd rather hang on to an insubordinate than to spend money on someone to retrain all over again (makes sense), but seriously, it causes drama in the office and the performance goes down

Pros

You meet some pretty cool people. Training was good when available.

Cons

Long hours, low pay. Doesn't work out in your favor unless you become an Area Manager and fast. Absolutely no work/life balance.

Pros

Builds confidence when your a Management Trainee. Provides valuable experience that can carry over into future careers. Experience looks great on a resume.

Cons

The pay just doesn't measure up to the ridiculous hours you have to work. It can prove to be a very degrading job with some of the customers you have to deal with. Once you experience your first rainy day at work and your favorite suit is ruined from checking cars in/out in the rain, you start to wonder why you worked so hard in college. If anything, the job builds character! And once you get a better paying 9-5 job in the future, you appreciate it that much more!!
