The work/life balance is absolutely shocking and honestly awful. Never have I worked for a company with such little regard for work/life balance. Be warned, you're contracted for 45 hours a week but don't ever expect to only be working 45. They write in your employment contact that hours and overtime are subject to 'business needs' which basically gives them the right to make you work whatever hours they want. Baring in mind most branches tend to be very tight on staff to save money - trainees are basically expected to make up for this and work hours upon hours of overtime, most days we would work 12-13 hour shifts with a 20 minute break for the whole day. Frequently we would be out until 9pm delivering cars and be expected to be back in at 7.30am the next morning. It really started to affect my mental health and despite many times expressing this to my area manager nothing was ever done in attempt to reduce the overtime. Put simply everyone high up in Enterprise is well aware of the hours and overtime but never is interested in doing anything in attempt to improve it. Bascially you're just expected to get on with it and stop complaining. If you want a job that values you're life outside of work I would strongly advise avoiding Enterprise at all costs.
