      Pros

      Encompass employs lot of well-meaning and hard-working people and I can personally attest that dedication and a positive attitude go a long way here, both in helping build a positive work environment and for paving the way towards career advancement. Last year I saw EDM leadership take a big step towards engaging its employees through surveys, town hall meetings and by hiring a new and approachable CEO.

      Cons

      Every organization has its flaws. Flawed processes, flawed ideas, flawed people. And even though this company has gone through a rough patch, maybe even a couple of rough patches, I can still see an everyday effort to make it a better place to work. That's all I can ask for from my employer.

      Pros

      Great opportunity to get your feet wet. Great co-workers and free lunch is available to certain employees.

      Cons

      No room for advancement. Promotions are made on personality and personal preferences over merit. Lots of office gossip.

      Pros

      Encompass is a interesting global high-tech television business with the flagship facility being in Atlanta. Employees are great and most management people are good, down-to-earth people. Benefits package was good, and salary was good.

      Cons

      C-suite executives are aloof and non-communicative to the masses. They don't infuse a real team spirit and have very little interaction with the employees. Many employees are spread very thin. The result is low morale is an ongoing issue at some of the facilities. Leadership is also spotty at some of the facilities.
