Pros
Encompass employs lot of well-meaning and hard-working people and I can personally attest that dedication and a positive attitude go a long way here, both in helping build a positive work environment and for paving the way towards career advancement. Last year I saw EDM leadership take a big step towards engaging its employees through surveys, town hall meetings and by hiring a new and approachable CEO.
Cons
Every organization has its flaws. Flawed processes, flawed ideas, flawed people. And even though this company has gone through a rough patch, maybe even a couple of rough patches, I can still see an everyday effort to make it a better place to work. That's all I can ask for from my employer.
