Pros
On the bright side, the pay is decent, and the employee discount is good at 30%. You get to work in a cute environment while basically learning everything. The schedule is flexible, since it's basically up to you to find someone to cover your shift. Because it's a small workplace, you can become friends with all your coworkers, which makes working there more fun. Also, you have a good amount of control over how you want the boutique to look. Every day offers a different experience. It's good for a short-term job.
Cons
Even if you're experienced in retail, the learning curve is tough. There's a lot you have to know and understand quickly, but they do a decent job training and understanding. Because there's so much to do, it can lead to frustration if it seems like someone's not pulling their weight. There can be drama. There can also be confusion because there's always so many promotions going on, and every day there's something different. Oh, and the clothing and jewelry is pricey and of low quality.
