Pros
eTeacher offers remote positions from the comfort of your home, the team is extremely nice and cooperative. Management is understanding, always open to hearing suggestions for improvement, and continuously exhibits extraordinary humane treatment towards their employees! The job itself is challenging and dynamic. I possess a strong passion for the field of service, and eTeacher cherishes that and nurtures that very passion. There's a strong sense of comradery and family within the company.
Cons
This is not necessarily a con for me, but I realize this could be a con/difficulty for many others. Customer-facing jobs are always challenging, it requires a tough skin, emotional intelligence, creative thinking, and good problem-solving skills. Some may acquire and improve upon those with experience, for others, it may take longer. Another possible con is with the WFH format, many people aren't suited for that kind of format and are better off working from an office. My best advice to those who consider WFH is to strongly assess their compatibility with it. I have been working from home for quite a while now, have decent time-management skills, so for me - more of a blessing than a curse.
