Pros

Good pay and benefits. Good career opportunities.

Cons

Unsavoury politics and ego battles abound. They push every woman out who has children whilst she is there eventually. They want you to be married to the company and even years of 12 hour days will count for nothing in their eyes once they decide they're not getting (more than) their pound of flesh. Ruthless and devisive.

Pros

Sometimes free food and clean work environment. Most co-workers are friendly and easy to work with.

Cons

Very loud environment. If you are not training to be a pharmacy technician it is a dead-end job. Unrealistic work expectations. The Lexmark printers are slow and not very reliable. The overall network could use better reliability and faster processing speed. They will IMMEDIATELY fire you if you have poor attendance. What happened to the days of a verbal warning, then follow up with a written warning? Walgreens MFC Management will argue with you on using your own PTO. Not good cross-training in different departments. Walgreens MFC makes it difficult to change into maintenance or I.T. positions Biggest deal-breaker is the low pay $15 an hour for people working during the day shift and $16.50 for people working the night shift. Even if you have experience. It should be $18 at the minimum for people with experience. Avoid working for Walgreens MFC.
