Pros
US Advisory Services has a great group of brilliant thought-leaders in transportation. Young professionals are able to work directly with some of the best and brightest in the field.
Cons
There is no set path for advancement for young professionals. Promotions are not performance-based. Associates are overworked, underpaid, and do not have any of the major benefits provided by other consultancies (bonuses, phone stipends, etc.). Management is too focused on cutting costs, and would rather hire someone in from the outside at much higher rates than grow high-preforming staff from within.
