Pros

Benefits were good but slowly they have been decreasing them. There will always be something on fire that day to keep you busy. This is a good place to start or end your career as there's zero growth opportunities (can't even get HR or supervisors to lay out a roadmap to promotions) but you will be exposed to a lot of by the nature of how lean the company chooses to be.

Cons

All the true engineering is done overseas. In the US as an engineer you will perform the test, put the values in the engine or test results. You may be one of the lucky ones to evaluate hardware Sweden has already decided upon. You will be heavily reliant on the UAW and your performance evals will be heavily dependent on them performing their work. There is zero, ZERO upward mobility here. You can not even get HR or management to lay out a roadmap. They reduced the number of levels from 7 to 4 . So your entire career you can expect only 4 promotions. They re-organize every year which just means you get yet another boss to report to. In 4 years this company re-organized 4 times and each time I gained another boss to report to but kept all the old ones.

Pros

Really inclusive environment and most of campus is already with ABW - activity based workplace (flexible seating).

Cons

Sometimes due to the very inclusive environment, decisions can take a little longer.

Pros

Great team of colleagues. Employee who are focused on ensuring their best. Excellent collaboration between teams. Colleagues who will look past the negative culture and continue to do their best for the company.

Cons

Culture & HR team who are clueless about global teams and work strategies. Focus on how many days and hours are spent in the office, rather than quality of work delivered. "You are being tracked by HR" has become the new way of life with the new culture. Total lack of communication after announcing job cuts are coming, due to awful truck sales and loss of market share in USA. Heavily bloated VP structure.
